The time has come! We are once again accepting submissions for this year’s playwriting festival.

This year’s theme is ‘The price of passion’. 

Everyone has something that is near and dear to them; yet, life often dictates where we spend our time and energy. Daily difficult choices pull us towards or away from what drives us. How difficult is it to distinguish our needs from our desires? Nevertheless, humanity is prone to chasing after passion.

Let the theme inspire you to create something amazing!

Here’s how to participate!

We will start off the festival with ‘pitch night’ where potential playwrights will pitch their ideas. Scripts DO NOT have to be completely finished at this point, but a general structure should be visible. Pitch night will take place on the 9th of February at New Visions Theatre’s rehearsal studio (Kovářská 939/4). So get your ideas rolling, you have the holiday months to prepare…
